Book Review Thursday-- One Hundred Candles

I have to say this is by far my favorite in the series, however i haven't finished the third yet so we will see. It starts with Charlotte and her family on christmas vacation at a prison in Ohio, where she is attacked. Back at home her parents are arguing more and she is still trying to get over Noah even though it seems clear that he doesn't want to leave the friend zone.
It's new years and Charlotte finally meets the guy Callie and Avery have been trying to set her with Harris is surprisingly better than Charlotte imagined, and starts to attempt to move past her crush on Noah. In a twist her and her friends end up at another house where a ghost story game is being played. After 100 candles are lit something is supposed to happen only it doesn't well immediately. Then the weird things start occurring at school and everyone is on high alert.
Like i said before this is my favorite there is so much more to this book than the first. Charlotte knows what she wants and this book and goes for it. She states her opinion and isn't shy. I think this written perfectly and i can't give it anything other than a five star.

Book Review Thursday-- Raising the Dead

This a continuation from the last book by mara purnhagen and so will the next three books. This was a novella and isn't necessarily part of the series but it was a good read. We start off with Charlotte, still crushing on Noah and in the midst of one of the worst storms in South Carolina has ever seen leaving coffins swimming down streets. Once the storm is over the Silvers are there to volunteer putting the coffins in their rightful place only problem is they don't know who's who and a strange man has been found on various occasions in the cemetery.
The story was good and it generally kept my interest i liked how we learned more about Charlotte's crush on Noah that we didn't hear much about in the 1st book. Over all i give it a four for being less supernatural than i had anticipated.

It's another tuesday and another musical video for your enjoyment. I don't know how everyone is feeling about gym class heroes but i'm loving their new album, not only because they used adam levine in their first track (i'm kinda in love with him if u haven't noticed) but because every song is just so catchy and this is not an exception. Fighter.

Book Review Thursday--- Past Midnight

I just finished Past Midnight by Mara Purnhagen. It was a YA book focusing on Charlotte Silver, daughter to the famous paranormal investigators Silvers. Charlotte just left from visiting her sister in Charleston, and some pretty unexplainable occurances on one of her parents' segments. Charlotte moves with her parents to their new home and starts at school where she befriends the hurting cheerleader, Avery, meets the outcast Jared and crushes on her AV partner, Noah.
Eventually Charlotte finds out that the ghosts from Charleston are not in charleston but in her room waiting for her to help her find their daughter but that her new best friend and the elusive Jared have a secret that keeps them at a distance and is slowly eating away at them.
In usual YA fashion the book is slightly predictable but the approach to another ghost book was unique. Although Charlotte does not seem like the strongest character she makes up for it by being their whenever someone needed her. It was a nice book and i look forward to reading the rest of the books and novellas that are a part of the series.
I give this a four!!

I know this song doesn't really fit what i've been posting lately but this song is a force to be reckoned with everytime it comes on my playlist on Itunes i can't help but put it on repeat and write a chapter of revelations. As of right now i've listened to this song and a few other wanted songs over 50 times. Its pretty much my soundtrack to the last Secrets book. I haven't decided if it actually has much to do with what i'm writing though. So enjoy this sappy love song by the wanted!
P.S. don't forget to vote on the Enchanted cover by leaving a comment on the post below or by sending an email at the ask the author section of my page.

Hey ladies and gents!
Exciting news! So since officially adding Enchanted as a book to be released in my works in progress! I have been hard at work wrapping the book up so i can A) Make a new tab with any and every detail regarding Enchanted, including a plot summary. B) Hopefully put up an equally enticing Cover that conveys how much i want you all to enjoy this book i have a few cover samples and would love to have my great twitter, facebook, and goodreads friends feedback on what is more interesting. Only issue is i'm not giving out a detail about the book until it is officially finished. Does that mean u can still decide i think so!
So check out these pictures on comment on which you like better!!!

Book Review Thursday-- The Morning After

This week's book is by Lisa Jackson. If you haven't read a book by her before prepare yourself for a great mystery with a hint of love mixed in. This book was no disappointment. It starts with Detective Reed receiving some mysterious mail with a riddle, later that day he ends up in his hometown staring at the dead body of his ex girlfriend stuffed into a coffin with a longtime dead body.
Back in Savannah, reporter Nikki Gillette is hot on the trail of this new killer even naming him the Grave Robber. She tracks the story from 1 body to 2 to 3. As the numbers creep up in this murderer's deadly rampage, reed and nikki start receiving more and more messages from the killer. Leading to Nikki's capture, of course she's rescued by her would be crush/ boyfriend reed. How do all the murders end up tied together? You just have to read and find out.
It's a great book and a must read-- 5 stars :-)

Book Review Thursday

The Wedding Dance is the 2nd book in the 4 weddings and a fiasco series by Lucy Kevin. Lucy Kevin has written some great books if you've never checked them out. The romantic in me always loves a solid romance and she delivers. This one is no exception. Phoebe the Rose Chalet's florist just met the dreamy brother of her coworker, Patrick. After one dance, Patrick has already disrupted her normal and simple life. Phoebe doesn't believe in love or romance. It just never lasts. So when Patrick speaks of romance and shows the optimistic views he has. Phoebe is heading the other way. Patrick is determined like all great male characters are and he knows him and Phoebe can make something lasting if she just stopped running away. With a lot of flower messages, a dysfunctional mother, and always understanding Patrick. I was happy to have them finally get together.
Looking forward to the next two books... the next with the Chalet's DJ Tyce and i'm expecting the 4th one to probably be around Rose and RJ. (Just a guess;-)
Overall it was a 4 and def worth a read for you hopeless romantics out there.

So I'm sure by this point everyone has heard this song one way or another. I have to apologize in advance because as of lately all the songs i have posted recently are annoyingly catchy (it probably explains why i'm humming this song right now as i write my post). I hope you guys enjoy this song as much as i do.
Also don't forget to check out Hidden the 2nd book in the Secrets Trilogy available at smashwords and Amazon. Links are available under the Secrets trilogy tab check it out!
