The redeeming quality about this book however had nothing to do with the story at all it was the last two chapters.
The first one was actually told by a 7 yr. old Christian when he was first adopted and i'm not going to lie it actually made me really like Christian. The following chapter was the first chapter of Fifty Shades of Grey told by Christian and yes it was still not pultizer prize winning stuff. I think i laughed more than i should have. If the books were originally told from his perspective i think these books would have been a lot more entertaining.
(Recently read an article saying E.L James is considering writing the books in Christian's perspective, a la Stephanie Meyer and the midnight sun.)
Overall i give this book a 4 and the series gets a 3. Check back next week for another Book Review Thursday.
