Book Review Thursday-- Fifty Shades Freed

It's that time again we are winding down on another series. This is the final book in the Fifty series and it was probably the best, but that's really not that hard of a feat. This one joins our couple on their honeymoon, where SURPRISE, there are a multitude of sex scenes. They eventually return to Seattle to run across a similar plot line to Breaking dawn. Accidents and pregnancy and fighting for your loves. It concludes with a look at five years later when they are settled and have already had their first child and are expecting their 2nd. Just like in breaking dawn, Christian is a bit more docile in this book, yes he has some fits and arguments ensue but he just didn't seem like that overpowering man like he had in the first two books.
The redeeming quality about this book however had nothing to do with the story at all it was the last two chapters.
The first one was actually told by a 7 yr. old Christian when he was first adopted and i'm not going to lie it actually made me really like Christian. The following chapter was the first chapter of Fifty Shades of Grey told by Christian and yes it was still not pultizer prize winning stuff. I think i laughed more than i should have. If the books were originally told from his perspective i think these books would have been a lot more entertaining.
(Recently read an article saying E.L James is considering writing the books in Christian's perspective, a la Stephanie Meyer and the midnight sun.)
Overall i give this book a 4 and the series gets a 3. Check back next week for another Book Review Thursday.
