Last week i wrote about the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and this week i sped through the Girl who Played with Fire and am currently working on the last one for next week.
The second book is by far my favorite where the first one was slow this one got straight to the point i had spent a whole getting through the slow parts of the first one but the second i couldn't put down not only was the plot intricate and fall open only when he wanted it to fall open. The characters just seem to get better and better as you went on.
Lisbeth Salander is accussed of a triple murder and of course her old friend Mickael Blomkvist is there to say she is innocent despite not seeing her for the last 2 years. Although 2 of his friends were murdered he would never suspect that Lisbeth did it but the police don't believe it and media circus follows the police crusade to locate the elusive Lisbeth. Lisbeth's friend and sometimes lover Mimmi, gets entangled in the web when she moves into Lisbeth's old apartment after Lisbeth moves out to something grander with her newly inherited money not leaving a return address of course. Crazy headlines, sexist cops, conspiracy, and family drama all culminate at the ending when you literally are unable to put down the book its that good but i don't want to ruin it for the people that haven't read yet.
My opinion this was the best book in the trilogy and it was absolutely perfectly executed. Loved the story the plot twist and turns and the finale.
Hope you Enjoy,
;;
